This site uses privacy-respecting product analytics (Amplitude) only after you grant consent. No file names, file contents, drive contents, or hardware serial numbers are ever collected.

Analytics

When you accept cookies, we load Amplitude's Browser SDK to record a small number of product events (page views, downloads, feature clicks) so we can understand how Recovatron is used. Amplitude assigns a random device identifier stored in your browser; we do not retain your raw IP address.

If you decline, no third-party scripts load, no cookies are set, and no events are recorded. You can change your choice any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

What we store locally

Your browser's localStorage is used only to remember small preferences:

• your chosen interface language (so we don't ask again on your next visit);
• whether the support panel was open or closed;
• your analytics consent choice.

None of these localStorage entries are transmitted anywhere. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

What the app does

The Recovatron desktop application never uploads recovered files, scan results, or drive contents. The app does report the same privacy-respecting product events described above (scan started, recovery completed, and similar) so we can improve reliability; no file names, file contents, or hardware serial numbers are ever included.

Payments and licensing

When you purchase Recovatron, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your payment details (card, billing address, VAT information where applicable) are collected and stored by Lemon Squeezy according to their privacy policy; we never see or store your card data.

We receive your email address, order ID, country, and subtotal from Lemon Squeezy so we can issue your license. Licenses are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and are keyed by your email address. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
